Euro 300 million investment in ports and airport

Fogo, Sal, Santiago, Sao Vicente and Santo Antao are to benefit from improvements. The ports on the islands will be expanded and modernised. Santo Antao will also gain a new airport, sited 7km from the city of Porto Novo, with work scheduled to begin in 2010.
