Air carrier Sata wants to link Madeira to Cape Verde

Azorean air carrier Sata wants to link the Madeira and Cape Verde archipelagos by air, Grupo Sata’s spokeswoman, Nathalie Blétière told Madeiran newspaper, Jornal da Madeira.
Sata has already linked the remaining Macaronesia (the collective name for the archipelagos located in the north Atlantic) archipelagos with regular flights between the Azores, Madeira, Porto Santo and Grande Canaria, in the Canary Islands.

Sata is now waiting to take delivery of new Bombardier Q400 aircraft to start the flights between the remaining Macaronesian islands and Cape Verde.

Blétière told Jornal de Madeira that there could, "be a Madeira-Cape Verde route,” as well as one to the Canary Islands.
